The course focuses on the uniqueness of the geology of Iceland. Iceland’s geologic history, tectonic plates and volcanic eruptions are discussed, along with other portentous phenomena of geology. Volcanic eruptions and earthquakes in Iceland are also compared with similar activities in the rest of the world.
